Callaway Speedster Pics?

Does anyone happen to have any good, Callaway Speedster pics that I could add to our Callaway Gallery?

I'm looking for good resolution and around 640 x 480 pixels.

Rob, I have seen 4 of the 10 Speedsters and photgraphed them. I will try to dig them up and scan - In the meantime, I would love to see the pics that others have of these cars esp. if anyone attended the event that had 8 of the 10 (one of the remaining was {is} being built)

The Yellow one is a 1991. The Silver one is the same one that was at Carlisle 2002 and Bob McDormans in the previous post. I don't recall the car numbers but if I find in in the Callaway pile
I will let you know.

#001- 1991 LA Auto Show car painted Old Lyme Green w/ blue int.(has had 2 or 3 styles of wheels over time, and no side mirrors)
#002- Fuchsia w/ silver int (OZ 's)(BFG Road show car) (Owner also has an 11 sec Aerobody Coupe )
#003- Steel Blue/ black int (???)
#004- Black (Was James Camerons car - OZ's)
#005- Yellow/Royal blue (OZ's) (owner had a 91 "stock body B2K as well)
#006- Bright Red/ white on tan int. (Bridgestone Runflats)
#007- Purple Haze/?? (OZ's)
#008- Silver Pearl/Wedgewood Blue (OZ's)
#009- top secret
#010- Pearl Black/ red (Bridgestone Runflats)(was destined to be Dark Green w/ Pumpkin prior to final decision)
#S2-001 Cherry Smash (OZ's) widebody flared in rr 750hp
#S2-002 Candy Red/tan (OZ's) hardtop & rr wing LM bodywork

Cars 1-10 are all 91's based upon the L98 and were TT's.
The S2's are LT5 based cars (unsure of years built)

sounds like they were trying to build upon the legend w/ confusion... It is in fact based upon an L98 chassis.

I hope I'm remembering this correctly. I was stationed in Las Vegas as a single guy a few years ago. We were out going somewhere in localville and up pulls a purple speedster with a couple girls. Couldn't believe it. They were around 20 years old. She said it was her dad's car and he was out of town, and that he didn't mind if she drove it. Needless to say I started begging right there at the red light for a ride--with no luck. She said her daddy had a Viper too--like it was the cool car. I still remember that night as I was stuffed in the back seat of a Camaro. Is there any way to know if 007 was in Vegas in the early 90s?

It is an illusion...

:confused What are you guys talking about? Spacers? Wide bodies? The Speedsters are not wide bodies... It's a standard Aerobody. Only the windshield and the rear deck are changed. That's what makes the price of them so outrageous.

Absolutely! I've never seen any other Callaway car that had more than one of them. :L

I've seen two speedsters in person. The yellow one was up for auction at Carlile in '02... it was bid to $138,000 and a no-sell; the reserve was higher.

The silver w/blue interior was owned by a guy from Pennsylvania when I saw it at an Englishtown show in '98 or '99. Gorgeous car and I have it on video but no pics. The license plate said "TURBOOO" I think...... I'll have to look through the cam corder for it!
