Can I remove the Front lower "Chin" w/o problems

I'm tired of scraping the "front end chin" everywhere I go! I can't even get off my lawn safely. This morning, I ripped the center fastener out of the fascia when I exited my lawn, 'cuz I can only exit my driveway in one direction, and I needed to go in the OTHER direction!

I guess I can re-fasten it, but can it be removed?.........I read somewhere it (removal) can/will cause over heating problems??.......

Can anyone answer this question definitively?

* I'm not sure correctly referred to the correct part. I'm talking about the very front piece....NOT the larger air dam mounted behind it.......

Thanks,

Tom

Can't say for sure, but, I too, have heard that removing it might cause overheating problems. Let's hope someone who can answer definitively will come along here soon and give us an answer.

The dam is part of the cooling and aero systems.
