Can someone with the following setup provide some dyno results with the EM LT Headers and cat back exhaust? I'm interested to see what type of increases one nets after the mods.

Also, anyone have any ET improvements they can post as a result of the mods?

Thanks

I'm not sure but

I know I love the sound when I hit the gas now!!! I have EM LT headers, Random Tech cats and corsa. Before I put the cats and headers on I had 292 HP @ the rear wheel. I want to get it dynoed again but I don't have the time now....
Talk to ya later, Jim "Vette96ce"

OK, just keep us posted

what else have you done? just headers and exhaust is only part of getting more power. and I would suggest headers until after some basic intake mods are done

Right now, I only have the Corsa system, and an open lid with a K&N. Am contemplating the headers if it gets me close to 400 horses, but am having a hard time justifying the $.

a new cam is cheaper and will produce more power... thought about that?

Thanks. How will it affect driveability and any suggestions? How much would the cost be installed?

The LT4 hotcam is a good balance between drivability and performance (IMO) they usually run about $300; but I have seen them for $200 or less on ebay brand new.

Installation depends on the shop. It isn't difficult, but time consuming because of all the stuff in the way. for some reason I figured you for a do it yourself person... I would honestly get quotes for both headers and cam, and see how much the labor differs. It probably isn't much different. Headers are a PITA to get in there:ugh

I do not have the numbers you are looking for but I will give you my numbers with the mods I have TPIS long tubes Corsa a LT4 Hot Cam and a adjustable fuel preasure regulator. The numbers I put down were 345hp and 334tq add 18% and you get 407hp and 394tq at the wheels. Not to bad ha Those are stock Zo6 numbers or stock C6 numbers. To get the next 50 to 75hp will cost 5 to 7 large to get to 500hp 10K. Try to do the cam. You WILL have a fairly nasty LT4. Oh check out the GS Registry and click on the LT4 dyno page. This may help. www.grandsportregistry.com
