Question: can someone tell me what this is in the pics

I have only had the car for a little over a month. Still working out some stuff on it. The boy who had it before me didn't take care of it and did not know what he was doing I guess. I have a few pics here of a couple of little tubes that looks like they was togather but has been cut. It looks like it runsfrom some where on te motor to this other round thing under the headlight can any body tell me what they are or go to?

My '89 had something like that as well. I just tore it all out because it wasn't attached to anything on either end. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but my buddy had some guesses that it was maybe a part of an old vacuum system that was upgraded. Who knows though, when you have a car that is 20 years old people could have done anything with them.

1 is the charcoal canister for fuel tank fumes
2 is the EGR solenoid

3.Need to know where other end of line is?
Could be the vac line from intake to resiviour ball
