Can you buy the Aerobody parts?

It's a bit early to call Callaway so I though I'd ask the question here. I received an e-mail from a gentleman in Australia that asked where he could buy an Aerobody parts kit.

Are they still available from Callaway as a complete kit or are there kits stashed away at the Chevy dealers that installed them?

The other question I have is if I damage (heaven forbid!!!) any of the body panels, can I get replacements from Callaway?

Yes, you can buy the parts from Callaway for your car as long as you don't need a ZR1 rear end. The mold is no more.

They do sell complete body kits but hopefully only to owners of genuine Callaway cars. It's unclear to me if they are maintaining this requirement or will sell to anyone these days.

There have been a few complete kits obtained through private sellers. They seem to appear at about the rate of one per year.

Kevin is correct - Kits can still be had and replacement parts (if you damage say, the nose) you can get just that one part...

The tough part would be the ZR1 Aero tail as they are not made, period.

The used kits (really, they were new - one was "fitted" the other was "MIB" ) are a great deal - the prices have been great - between 3-6 grand for virtually NEW

I know an owner, even if they have a body & not a "whole" Callaway - engine, etc. should register the car w/ Joanne @ Callaway as they will sell only to those who have existing kits and at one point, it was "part for part" only.
