Can't get my 90 to run...it cranks but won't turn over

ok....heres what happen....car was running then all of a sudden starting missing. I stop the car pulled over checked stuff.....found that the temp gauge was reading really high.....265 temperature.....Shut car off....tried starting after that point....no go....haven't been able to get it running...car cranks...but will not turn over.

I had a custom chip in it.....replaced it back out with the original chip....still same problem

I have spark at the plugs and have voltage at the injectors

I checked the valve on the fuel rail and fuel came through when tried to start the vehicle

I checked for codes on the ECM...none....blinks code 12 3 times and goes away...

BUT!!!...i disconnected both the Thottle Position Sensor and the MAP sensor to attempt to get a code to be thrown.....checked the ECM with my code scanner and again....just code 12......reconnected things back together.....so.....Iam very much lost right now...

I also have already replaced the cap, rotor, upper coil, lower pickup coil, ignition module....still no luck

anybody have a clue what to do? :eyerole

thanks

jeff

UPDATE: can rule out the pre-cats and main cat...they were just replaced recently

no loss in coolant and I removed a plug to check for coolant in there in case of a blown head gasket so thats not it either...

As far as timing goes....I can imagine its something there....the plug wires have spark at the end of them so timing is there...even if it was off a lot....the car still should fire...maybe run bad..but I would think it would fire up.

Iam really leaning toward a bad ECM....anybody have any problems similar to this and it ended up being a bad ECM?

If you are disconnecting those items and getting no codes, I would suspect the ECM has puked. Good Luck!

Update #2....not The Ecm!

I DUNNO GUYS...iam going nuts here!!!!! :(

You said you shut it down right away. I'm wondering if you had way too much heat under the hood, and it might have damaged the MAF sensor, or something in the Throttle body. Although disconnecting the Throttle Position sensor should have been picked up as a code but wasn't.

You never mentioned whether you were getting fuel out the injectors. Now if the injectors were dirty, this would have caused a lean mixture, and the engine would have run hot (high temperature) as it did.

The $64,000 question is: "Did the combination of the extreme temperatures and dirty injectors cause the pintle needle to become welded to the seat? or was there just so much gunk in the fuel to clog the injectors"

You gotta, Check it out!

Fuel out of the injectors? hmmmm

how do you check to see if fuel is coming out of the injectors...cause right now I would say NO....I unplugged 1 injector and tested it read like .01 ohm....way low condsidering my HELMs calls for no lower then 10 ohms at each injector so possibly a dead short? hmmmm?

Also 1990 cars don't have MAF's (they are speed density cars) so only thing here in question could maybe be the IAC or the TPS?

*If the IAC went bad would this cause a no start condition?
*If the TPS went bad would that cause a no start condition? and most important....*If 1 or more injectors went bad, got stuck open or something else would that cause the rest not to fire at all? I mean I would think if 1 went out the rest would continue seeing that they are wired in paraelle to one another 1,3,5, & 7 on ckr 468 and 2,4,6 & 8 on ckr 469.

thanks
