OK, here's the true NCRS nut in me coming out. There is a difference between 97-early 98 (around VIN 12000) and later coupes: The blow out tab on the top. For the 97 run and early 98s the tab was located in the first screw hole on the top (nearest the windshield pillar) somewhere around VIN 12000 the tab was moved back one screw hole so that it appears to be in the middle of the top. I've had this confirmed from a Corvette Plant Quality Control engineer.

There is very little difference my 98 vs. my 03. Just a few refinements.

However, the girls do tend to pull their skirts up a little higher when they see the 50th Anniversary Logo!
