Seems that there are many different car covers with a whole range of prices. Any one recommend a particular brand, style, or manufacturer? The vette will be in the garage except when on the road. May use the cover when traveling.

Also, we'll be headed to Dallas from Columbus OH over the Thanksgiving holiday. Plan to take a new route, through ST Louis, Oklahoma City etc on the way down. Then through LA, MS, and up the Natchez Trace Pkwy to TN and home. Any "MUST SEE"s along the way?

Thanks,

RE: Car Cover.
OK.. Listen up. as you might want to avoid this company.
I bought a cover off e-bay a few months back for my 86 coupe.
I just now had reason to use it. the cover did cover the car, and it was water proof.
however the mirror pockets were located on the fenders about 2 feet from the mirrors.
the zippered panal for the the drivers door wasent even close. and i discovered the next morning that the wind had blown the cover off the car because the threads holding the tie down strap had broken or it just wasent sewen properly.
This company claims ''MADE IN USA'' based in Lawrence Massachusetts.
every employee is a partial owner. and thats why their covers quality is unsurpassed.
The persons name on the statement is Michael Hancock.
The Sellers ID is carcoverconnection
E-mail Address is desiredautosupplies@comcast.net
Maybe I just got a bad cover! or Maybe I was just burned.
The man never replyed to my message, so i guess im stuck with it.
The old saying goes.. you get what you pay for.

I bought a "Flannel" for mine. If it's going to be inside, I'd get a flannel. They're nice and soft and won't scratch or rub off the paint.

I'd get another for outside.

What parts of LA and MS are you headed thru?(where are your entry and exit points)
That will help on the "points of interest" request! :D

If your into it, some of the most beautiful antebellum homes is the country are in Vicksburg, MS. I believe it's right on your route. Enjoy your trip..!! :_rock

Road Trip

Based on the current projection, we'll be going through LA on 84. Then 61 through MS up to Jackson. Then the Natcheze Trace Parkway all the way up into TN. 64 over to Chattanooga then 127 up North to Ohio.

Depending on timing and weather, we may take a "detour" and go over to Bowling Green to the museum. Or may save that for a late spring early summer '05 trip.

Yehaaaa.....:w
