Car Shows in 2005?

Woke the horses in the barn!

Though there is about 2 inches of snow yet to melt, and about six weeks of winter left (pending on what rat seen it’s shadow). This being my first winter with the vette, I have never been so excited about summer. This morning I had the uncontrollable itch to pull the cover off my car. I went out to the garage and started up the old girl. As the car’s exhaust slowly choked me out, I began to wonder what’s in store for 2005…and why didn’t I pay that extra money for larger exhaust fans.


I see that the CAC is having a rally in June; there is the Knoxville show in April and Carlisle in August.



As the new guy and with only 4 weeks holidays (that need to be picked soon)…what are the best car shows for a C4 owner in 2005???

I hear ya... but have to also tell you .... MOVE SOUTH!!! No snow and just about year around driving time, although inJanuary it can be rainy, cold, and the worst, ICE!

Anyway, nuff about that, tell me more about this Knoxville show. Your post is the first I have heard.

They call it the “Spring Corvette Expo”. They have it at the Chilhowee Park Fair-Grounds in Knoxville, Tennessee. I have not been in a few years but from all recollection it’s a great show and for us, well worth the 12-hour drive. They do have a web site: www.corvetteexpo.com . I believe the show is the first weekend in April this year.
