Ok, it was a sunny day and I wanted to get over the fever that happens when I can't drive the vette because of bad weather. Last driven in January when the temperature hit 62 F.
This is what I found:
Battery is dead, nothing was left on. Hooked up the battery charger, and after about a 1 minute a relay? (loud clicking sound) some where under then front end near the right head lamp starts to chatter. Can hear the noise, but not sure what's making it. By the way new battery installed less than 2 years ago.

Any ideas?

I don't have time to tackle the problem tonight, but maybe this weekend.

Thanks for your help.

I'd charge it overnight and see if it'll start, if not, new battery time.

Tom

Either way, new or recharged battery, save yourself a lot of grief
and invest in a 2 amp battery tender, mine is a Sears for $30.

Put it on the battery whenever it is going to sit for any length of time
to keep it up and power to all the electric components. Oh, and if you
replace the battery, use a glass mat not an acid type.

Just my $.02 worth. :D

Thanks for the suggestions, but is there an issue with the chattering realy or solenoid during the recharging?

Why not disconnect the battery during the charge? Makes sense to me.
