Carb Number Location

Where are the numbers on the Carb located? For a '78 L82.
I looked quick the other day but didn't see any number that started with 170...

The number your looking for is stamped vertically on the throttle cable side, rear corner, facing forward on a flat area. You will have to remove your air cleaner assembly completely, use a bright light, and look close.
