Carb problem?

Just called the local dealer and I'm gonna go over there tomorrow to pay for those parts so they can order them.

Quick question, what would work the best to get off that yellow-fuel stain color that is on the carb? I'm assuming a lot of elbow grease may be in order?

carb cleaner- about a buck per can- should do it.
also, if you properly rebuild the carb, it should be "boiled out" with a specific chemical (dont ask me the name) , but between the 2, it will remove all old fuel stains.
when you pick up the parts, ask for the boil out material- I understand it's not cheap- somewhere's around $30-$50 / gallon, this step is very important to rebuilding the carb, or so I'm told.
Sure someone else could reply with more specifics. Mike J.
