Carburated 1984

I have purchased a 1984 Corvette that has an Idlebrock 600 carburator in it. I would very much like to get an air filter for
it but I have had no luck. If anyone has any info' on this sort
of thing, or has a used cross-fire injection system it would be greatly appreciated.

Check Ebay for a CFI system. There are manifolds/TBI assemblies available quite often. It shouldn't be too difficult to find an ECM and wiring harness.

I have a used CrossFire, complete with K&N. The throttle bodies are enlarged and one may need a kit (tho I may have one).

I have the ECM with a tweaked PROM and used TRACO headers, in rather nice shape. I thought of getting them cleaned and coated with ceramic for use on my '55 F-100. SoCalif exhaust parts get no rust from the street, so these and the stock exhaust are in fine shape; not new, but fine. The stock stuff includes the exh, maifolds, front and rear Y pipes and the mufflers. I also have a 'test pipe', but that's a secret........... Then there's the FlowMasters for the above.

None of this stuff was suitable for the replacement 406.
