I found a Carter Carb with the following ID info and need help identifying which car it goes to:

Side of base---3012S H6 or HG

Top of Carb---A29 in ink and 1518 in a sort of casting mark.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jerry

I don't recognise the numbers right off hand. Is it a WCFB or an AFB? Does it have a foil tag on one of the top screws? Got a picture?

Tom

I'm not sure if it is a WCFB OR afb. How can I tell? There is no foil on the top screw as the tag was broken off. I'll get a picture and send it to you

An AFB looks almost exactly like an Edelbrock carb.

A WCFB looks like these:

47b7d729b3127ccebbe296e7e4df00000036100Aas2bVk4bt2LA

I hope this helps.
