I have a bright red C4 coupe. The carpet (red) is faded in the back area. The front, with the exception of the door sills, is fine. I'd like to replace the faded carpet in these areas, but it is expensive. I just replaced the audio in my car, and the installer said the carpet is glued to the matting underneath. I am wondering several questions and hoping your expertise can assist me in in making a decision. Here goes:
1) Can I paint or spray dye the faded carpet instead or ripping it out? If so, where would I find information on this process/service?
2) If I rip out the old and have new carpet installed, what type of matting do I need to place underneath?
3) Other options?
Thanks! Happy Holidays to you!
