1996 LT-1, Auto & no mods-stock radio, etc. This 5-amp circuit is shorting my battery slowly. There are no DTC's. Read and re-read the Factory Manual. All the manual shows is that it's the F-1 and F-2 "Battery Inputs" to the CCM after the current goes thru the CCM-2 fuse and the RF chokes to the CCM.

I've tested all the fuse circuits for shorts, and this is the only one that shows a problem.

If you had a "short" the fuse would blow.

Have you measured the current draw? If so, look in the Service manual and you'll find a discussion of what the current draw of the CCM when the system is "asleep" should be.

How quickly is the battery going dead?
