Cd-player problem

Hi!
I'm 1995 corvette owner from Croatia(Europe), and I'd be very grateful if somebody can help me!
I have some problems with my cd-player.
The problem is that when my car stays for a few days in the garage and then I try to put the cd in the cd player it won't take it and if it takes it it won't play the music.
After about 30 or more minutes of driving the car I try to put the cd on again and then it starts to play normally.
What could be the problem and how could I avoid this happening?

I've had the same problem this past summer.It happened to me twice where the cd player won't accept cds and shows "error" on the display.It's working fine now.I will fix this problem in the very near futur by buying a newer vette ...I hope to anyway.
