I'am going to try to put a 1999 vortex engine in my 1976 vette but i ran into a problem my exhaust manifolds will not bolt up to the vortex heads any suggestions ?

Cant offer much help with this but ...

Here is what GM says..

Quote..This engine requires a good exhaust system, headers are highly recommended. It has a standard exhaust bolt pattern. Some engines with the double front bolt pattern will not work with stock cast iron manifolds.

I think Scoggin- Dickey would gladly help you with info about what to do..

Cool idea.

Please tell me more. Are you swaping the full fuel injection, computer and all?

This is going to be a major project. I have not fooled with any fuel injection any newer than 96, but it can be very rewarding when it is all hooked up and never knows it left the donor car.
