I recently bought a 1977 corvette it started and ran when i brought it home ,the next morning it wouldn't start i replaced the battery and still nothing ,so i ended up replacing the alternator charge up the battery and it started later that night i started it again it fired right up the very next morning it was dead again. i had the battery checked it was good except it needed a charge i also had the alternator checked it was fine.any help or advice would be great i also checked the battery terminals they appear fine also .thank you

As you've already discovered, changing parts at random gets expensive very quickly and rarely solves the root problem. The number 1 reason for batteries going flat is a small residual drain somewhere in the system. Sure there's not a small light left on somewhere?

Stick an ammeter on the battery and measure the current. Then start pulling fuses one by one until the current drops down. That will tell you what circuit the problem is on.
