07 Z06, just over 2,500 miles today. A few months ago I started getting a "CHECK COOLANT LEVEL" warning on cold startup. Coolant level was and is fine. There is something written on this from GM and it is Z06 specific. The fix is supposed to be to reprogram the HVAC head unit, which was done a couple of weeks ago after replacing the (head unit for the third time). Today I drove the car for the first time since the reprogram and the warning has come back. Called the dealer tech. He is contacting somebody up the chain. There is no coolant level sensor or it might be easy to fix. Coolant level is monitored by an algorithm in one of the computers. Right now this is just an annoyance and not a performance issue. But sometime down the road the warning might be for real so it needs to be fixed. Has anyone else had a problem like this?
