Chrome finned valve covers

Did any of the C1s or C2s ever have chrome finned valve covers or were they ever a dealer accessory? I have a pair with #3767493 and Lester inside; they don't look like a custom chrome shop job.

Nope. They were always natural cast aluminum, both from the factory and as Service parts; having them chromed was a popular modification back in the day.
