chrome

i have a ' 80 corvette and when i have the t-tops off the chrome t- strip under the t-tops has scratches from the person that had it before me, how do i get these scratches out?

I take mine off every couple years and hit it with a buffing wheel on my bench grinder. It usually does a pretty good job. Be careful not to over heat the part.
