Alright Yall, I know I'm gonna get punched in the nose for this but I'm putting my interior back together (1982) and I'm not sure about the ground wire with a metal ring for the Cigarette Lighter.
I think, the two housing separate and then put the ring on and screw them back together and it wedges the metal ring up tight to the bottom of the panel?
What's throwing me off is the that threadable part at the bottom. It looks like something is suppose to screw onto it and hold the metal ring there? But I don't have anything to screw onto it.
