Cleaning allow wheels

Just bought a 2002 C5, with allow wheels. I plan on removing the wheels to clean them. It looks like there is some tar on the inner half of the wheel. What do you use to clean these wheels?

Just bought a 2002 C5, with allow wheels. I plan on removing the wheels to clean them. It looks like there is some tar on the inner half of the wheel. What do you use to clean these wheels?

I'm not sure what to use on allow wheels, but on alloy wheels I suggest Meguiars HOT RIMS. It does an excellent job. Just spray it on a wet wheel, let it sit for about one minute and hose off.
For the tar, spray a little WD-40 on it, let it soak the tar for a few minutes and it should come right off.
