Climate Control

I noticed for the first time last night that the "up" arrow control on my temp. setting for climate control is not working on my 96. Is this common? I am scared to even ask how it may be diagnosed or repaired. Seems as though it just stopped working. Seems that I remember someone mentioning recently of a similiar, intermittent problem. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know if it is the same problem I had, but my 94 climate control would work some time and not others. Last year I read in this forum about cleaning the head unit so I did it last winter and have had no problems since. It's not hard to do either. So you might try that.
