Closing trunk

I have a 2005 C6 Convertible and when i close the trunk i have to push it. My friend also have C6 2005 but a coupe, and his trunk closes the last inch automaticly. Is my not working or is it only the coupe that have this feature?

Coupe's only. Wish the verts had it too.

I just checked with a friend who has a 2006 3LT vert. He does not have the "latch pulldown" feature. Is it available in more recent model year verts?

I think it became an option on the Z06 in 2008MY. My 2006 doesn't have it.

Our '06 coupe has this feature and our '08 vert does not.

Since the convertible isn't as "air tight" as the coupe, GM didn't see the need to add weight and expense.

The coupes has the latch pull down, not the convertibles.
