Need some input from the team ....
I took delivery of my 2007 'Vette convertible (black on black on black) last week and immediately took it on a 1,000 mile freeway trip. The car ran flawlessly and got 29 mpg, but I have an issue that the dealer says is a non-issue.
When I engage the clutch slowly (as in maneuvering in a parking lot) the clutch chatters like crazy....reverse is even worse... (it sounds like the rear end is going to fall out). If I give it a decent launch, everything is smooth. Can anyone tell me if I'm going to have to live with this, or is there some "guidance" I can give my dealer??
I've had manual trans cars since my first new car in '66 and I've never had clutch chatter like this.
Thanks for the help, and I appreciate all the good stuff on this site.
