Well thats it, the Fiero Clutch Master Cylinder has finally bit the dust.

All I need right now is a 1985 Clutch Master Cylinder Cap with Boot/Sock FOR the Corvette (I used the Fiero as a temporary). Of course the General has discontinued the part and Ive placed email's to Zips,Corvette Central, Ecklers and Mid America.

If anyone knows anything at all or even has one laying around Im buying! (Beer or the parts)

Thanks

Autozone has them 114.00 part #12070
or a rebuild kit for 21.00 22268 ...really easy to rebuild

I am a refugee from the Fiero community. I listened to their hype about beating Corvettes until I tried it! Then I went out and bought one. :) (That was the '86 Vette)

I knew some parts from the Fiero would fit the Vette, didn't know the master cylinder would. I knew they had the same computer. There are probably others that swap over also. Sound like you found the master cylinder. I did have an '85 Fiero master cylinder, if I didn't give it to the buy who bought it from me. We were using Jimmy MS and Plymouth rear brakes when I deserted them. :)

Good luck with that MS...........

Try giving John@ Coastal Corvette a call. He parts out a ton of C4's. Just picked up an interior light timer (also disc) for $20. A great vette guy.

Hope it helps:w
