In addition to spreading the great news about Reeves Callaway being inducted into the NCM Corvette Hall of Fame this coming Labor Day weekend, I have made a few updates to the www.callawayownersgroup.com website this weekend :cool

Look for some of the changes/updates in the EVENTS tab, INFO & BACKGROUND tab, and the PRODUCTION tab :w

As always, your suggestions and ideas are welcomed!

The big movement forward in 2008 will be the COTQ program and the "Spotters Guide," which should be online soon :upthumbs

Thanks for your continued support of the site and especially for the contniued participation in the various threads here at the Callaway Forums. As we see new owners every day, I am sure that we are all benefiting from the exchange of information here :beer Thanks, Chris

Boy does the site ever stop growing...I remember back in 2002 when there was not even a forum. Keep up the good work Chris and Luigi...

Pete, thank you as well, for your continued support - you have been here since the begining!!!! :beer

It is amazing that in the 6+ years we have been doing this, how much more awareness there is for not only the cars, but the company as well. When I bought my first Callaway and the turn of the melinium, there was LITTLE going on however, NOW, things are different.

The cars are recognized internationally, new cars coming out of the woodwork every week, and owner Camaraderie has never been better.

For this, I personally say thank you to each and every one of those who have supported the COG and CAC sites, and for the support of Callaway Cars :beer Chris

Chris,

I'm pretty new to this, I only got my Callaway this past summer and learned about the forum sometime then too.

You've done a GREAT job with the web site etc.

Have a great holiday season.

Stephen, Thanks - you could not have picked a BETTER TIME to become a Callaway Corvette owner than now! :cool

The big shift came in 2004.

After the Callaway Reunion we hosted at Corvettes at Carlisle in 2002 (after a LOT of planning), we felt the upswing of enthusiasum. Into 2003, opportunities came around, one of the more significant ones, was the opportunity to headline the Bloomington Gold Special Collection XX display.

While initially, 5 or 6 cars were being considered, I spoke to the show organizer, explaining that there was so much more than a Supernatural or two, and a Speedster to display ;shrug We wound up with every model from 1987 - 2003, with at least one (or more) of each car, from 1987-1996:upthumbs Additionally, we had two Speedsters, the only B2K race car, two C12's, and the Test & Engineering car that rekindled the Callaway Corvette brand spirit, launching what has evolved into the car you have today :lou

After the BG show, we never looked back - it has been great to work with the owners and the Callaway Cars company, alike. :cool

Happy Holidays to you and yours! :beer

Great to see some new updates! Let's see some production data for the C16s added! I know the first 5! :upthumbs
