Help me out here someone, I'm having a "senior moment".

I had the coil out of my '73 and now I've come to put it back I can't remember which way to connect the primary circuit.

Does the wire from the distributor go to the +ve or -ve terminal?

Does it really matter?

Yes I did take some photos, but they're kinda low res so I can't actually read the markings on the coil.

Thanks in advance.

73, you want the (- ) negative wire going to the distributor.
(+) positive comes from the ballast resistor for a points type ignition.

hope this helps.
