I eventually decided to get out and put my new cam in this afternoon. When I opened it up it was unwrapped and had rusted. Nothing to serious but I was surprised I expected it to be wrapped and lightly oiled.
Anyone else had this with a Comp Cam, the box didn`t look like it had been previously opened. I have had it for about a month but I guess you should always check parts as soon as you receive them. Anyway if it is a decent day tomorrow I should get it buttoned up and ready to go for the weekend.
I`m getting serious withdrawal symtoms, I need to drive it soon !!!
