We removed this trans from my son's '87 coupe with 130,000 miles on it. The trans worked very well (overdrive was firm and crisp, all gears shifted great, doesn't pop out of gear when lifting quickly off the accelerator, etc...) and appears to have been well maintained by the first two owners (we think he's the third owner of the car and he just bought it in September). The clutch started slipping and my son wants to turn the car into a race car so we're doing the ZF6 conversion on it. The previous owner had also installed a short shift link kit (he has the receipt from MidAmerica for that) on it so that would be included with the sale. The slave cylinder looks very new too (might be able to find the receipt for that too). We drained the fluids before removal and both looked very good. The fluid lines to the radiator had to be cut out but we saved all four ends to provide to the purchaser if you need to make some new lines using them. We don't have any problem packing the unit for shipping since we saved the pallet/crate that the ZF came in and can use that. We just completed the removal and cleaning of the trans yesterday so pictures will be posted soon. It's hard to figure out value for something like this. There is one on ebay now at $600 buy it now. That one says it has gears cracked on first gear and needs that fixed. And it doesn't come with a slave or bell housing. There is also one on ebay at $279, looks like that ones at a salvage yard in CA. My son is working part time while in his senior year and has bought this car with his own money, and will be paying me back for the loan for the trans conversion. Let's start the listing at $800 plus shipping. I've shipped a couple of transmissions in the past and it's about $200-300 to most anywhere in the US. Of course we can only sell this as is but I'm a man of honor and would not lie to sell it. I don't post often on CAC but do read here a lot. I also have an ebay/paypal account so could take payment that way. Will get the pictures posted sometime today. Thanks.

Here are the pics, he had already put them into his myspace account I guess:

I think he has some more I'll get as soon as I can.

This one shows somebody used the wrong tool to remove the fill plug. Easy to get a new plug, I'll find one before shipping.

Here's the shifter and linkage that comes with the deal:

The rubber accordian boot thing that the three shift rods go through is slightly cracked so that should probably be replaced.

Also the shifter handle with the overdrive push button comes with it. I forgot to put those with the shifter for the picture. Another note. The trans is the MK2 gear ratio for the overdrive which makes it .68.
