Confirmed C4 Guy tries C5

my 87 vette pulls C5's from a dig and on the top end. raced a few of them. only raced 1 Z06 and it was an 01. from a 60 to 130 shot he only pulled 3 cars on me. i'll stick with my C4 even though i drove a 02 Z06. i just don't like the body style. when the time comes for another vette it will be a callaway TT or a ZR1

I got to try a customers C5 and thought it was a nice ride. I'll admit after owning my 84 I also like the cozy feeling of its cockpit over the C5. The C5 had great acceleration even with the automatic. It didn't feel as punchy off the line as my 84 but I could still tell it was alot quicker. I found the handling to be good but I didn't feel as secure in the corners as my Z51 84. I am an avid C3 lover and bought my 84 after I lost 4600 bucks to some internet scammer on a C3. I now must admit I wouldn't get rid of my 84 to get a C3 though I would love to park a nice 73-77 next to the 84 someday. Above all we should all enjoy our Vettes no matter what year they are. Just my .02.

I drove allot of Vettes to find mine, I drove mostly C5s and a few C4s the C4 had that ****pit feel that I love, this year I want to add another Vette to the Garage, most likey it will be a C5 coupe, but I am really looking hard at getting another C4
