I got tired of the lock-up convertor causing to car to shudder at low speeds, and locking up too quickly. I spliced into the tan wire on the 4-wire connector at the tranny, ran it up to a switch next to the seat, and it works great. If in town, I leave the switch off (un-lock). When on highway (on), it drops the RPM down a tad (maybe 50-100). Good for better milage for $2.50 a gallon gas..
