:W So here I am... a new user. And a newbie to the Corvette world.

:pukeMy 98 corvette has taken to spewing all of it's coolant out of a tube just ahead of the right side front tire.

I replaced the reservoir tank cap thinking it wasn't working properly.

Refilled the tank with a 50/50 mixer of dex cool and distilled water.

Moved it off the concrete to clean up the mess and it's leaking again.

It runs about 194 degrees on the road and has no problems until I turn off the engine.:puke

Welcome to the Corvette hobby, "Laura".

Coolant leaking all over the floor, is it? Not a very darn nice first experience for a rookie Vettester, now is it.

Has the cooling system been pressure tested? If so, what were the results?

Also...any chance you've got the high fill bottle overfull? If you're not sure, the level is marked on the side.

This just happened yesterday. Probably going to take it in tomarrow. So...no it has not been tested.

No the tank was not over full that was one of the first things I checked.

:bash Ya know if you don't get that drain plug seated and turned just right your coolant leaks out...imagine that. Good thing I kept a cool head:W. Whew!
