There is a spout next to the thermostat housing that looks like it had coolant running through it . It is apart of the throttle body .
Where does it connect too ??

A U shape hose goes from the intake manifold to the throttle body coolant port.
The lower heater hose from the heater core goes to the other throttle body coolant port.

The purpose of the coolant circuit was to warm up the throttle body in cold weather.

Some people bypass the throttle body coolant circuit by joining the heater hose to the intake manifold port.

Here's a picture of that hose on mine. One thing to note, some people block off the hoses to keep the TPI dry so insure there is hoses connected to the passenger side of the intake also or you could introduce leaks into your system.
