I have found a leak from the area where the two heater hoses connect to the heater core supply tubes.
First noted a drop of coolant on the inboard hose where it loops below the core connection.
I tied a rolled piece of paper towel around the inboard hose up close to the connection to the core and found the leak is coming from this area. I plan to replace the hoses, but fear I may have a heater core issue also. My limited experience indicates that if the core leaks, it shows up inside the passenger area. Any insight into this would be appreciated.

Yes if the core leaks you'll find a wet carpet on the passenderside. I hope this isn't happening because changing the core is a hell!

Greetings Peter
