cooling fans

hi, i have a 88 vette w/optional oil cooler w aux. fan. at what temp. should these fans come on thanks

Stock, the fans will come on when the coolant temperature reaches 230 or so.

The pusher fans come on at something in the 225&#176 range, with the main fan coming into play at around 235&#176. The temperature at which the fans turn on is 226&#176-235&#176 from the factory because of emissions requirements. Most cars will operate at 190&#176-210&#176 on the highway and will go upwards to 240&#176 in the city.
