From the posts I have read, the LT1 exhaust was pretty good stock except for the mufflers. The stock pipes on my vette are in good shape for a 10 year old car, so why not spend your money on other upgrades where you're going to get much more Bang for your buck ie. gears, chip etc.

Finally someone gets it ;)

Just to note the 3" B&B system price had dropped recently, it's now around $9XX, not much more than the Corsa.

As for that 15hp gain  These manufactures can make all the claims they want, as I stated I saw 0 gain in the 1/4 mile with the addition of the B&B.
Even so, $900+ for 15hp is not a good deal IMO.

I paid 780 for my Corsa, wouldn't have B&B on my car if it was free or came from the factory like that.

I ended up going with the Magnaflow on my 96 LT-4 and am really pretty happy. I have driven it a couple times, once on a 70 mile freeway drive and the other around town, no resonance problems that bothered me.

Seems like the most important thing in choosing an exhaust in preference.

As surprising as this may sound, Borla and then Corsa is the last system I would install. They don't fit my taste or needs.

You hit it dead on. I'm seeing way too many people go with the Corsa system. I guess they want to keep up with the Jones. ;LOL

Glad to see you are happy with it.

who does good custom exh work in VA/NOVA.

I know of one gent in Woodbridge, but would like to hear of others.

I'm considering doing a custom 3" SS system with Random Bullet cats (I have headers now), X pipe, and the Magnaflow mufflers.

I have a 368 ZR1 with 536 FWHP and I think it would benefit from a nice exh.

I have the borla system now but don't really care for it much, I think the mufflers sound kinda funny and are more restrictive than more modern designs.

I loved the way my flowmasters on my 95 sounded, but prefer a SS muffler. I only want to do this once and plan on keeping the car for a long time.

thanks!!!
