Earlier today, a member of the C8 Corvette Owner's group on Facebook posted that the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant was shut down this week.

According to the Chevrolet Corvette Concierge, the rumor was false and the Corvette Assembly Plant is fully operational this week. However, next week appears to be a different story.

My guess is that the shortages are happening throughout every manufacture’s supply chain, but the Vette is the only model sold out so there isn’t much tinkering that can be done with the line. It’s been a tough introduction year for the C8.
