2003 50th Annversary Red coupe, beautiful !
I'm looking to install more powerful fans in my 2003 Corvette. What size are the stock fans, 11" 12" or 10 inch and I see a lot of different fans out there, How do I find a set or a single fan, and or a complete fan/housing combination ? . . . Ideas ? Thank you ! :w

Do you have an overheating problem? The fans on the C5 are more than adaquet for a properly running LS1 or LS6. I changed the turn on and turn off setttings on my C5 vert because my perception was that it was running too hot... not tto hot for 2004... too hot for 1972!

BINGO.

Instead of re-engineering the system, address the problem. To many people are quick to try and re-engineer these cars because they don't understand what is causing the problem. Re-engineering the system is like going out and buying the best bullet proof vest known to man because you like hanging out in a area of town where people get shot every day.

How about not hanging out in that part of town? Problem solved. :thumb

Dear Gentlemen,

Please accept my apology, I don't have a overheating problem in the slightest way, I was just wondering if and when I were to look into a new set of engine cooling fans, what is out there as a replacement ?
. I tend to be very ANAL at time when I am looking at a non existing problem. My car is just about ten years old and If it's going to have a fan motor burn out of just wear out, what would be my R&R situations. Thank you and please forgive my questioning unfounded problem. :w

Why not go for an OEM replacement in that case? there are aftermarket products and those probably would suffice as well.

That's exactly where I would go. No issues with fitting or operation. Definitely can't go wrong with stock in this case.
