Oh, I knew this one would get some replies. Here'sy 2cents worth. It's not what you ride, it's that you do. I've been a Harley rider for 30 plus years and I don't knock the Jap riders. Most would have a Harley if they thought they could afford it. I have my own priorities when it comes to an American icon. It's a love and if I have to explain you wouldn't understand. It's exactly the same with Corvettes. I got my first one in 1970, I will never own an overpriced glorified Volkswagon spawned on the heals of Nazis. But I appreciate all sports, specialty and collectable vehichles. I just keep my opinions to myself. After 765,000 miles in 30 plus years on a Harley I've had my share of jerks in all makes of cars pass me like an idiot, cut me off and pull out or turn in front of me and I certainly never faulted the maker of the car, just the parentage of the driver. Same way with my Vette. Almost every other time I drive either I see a potential crash if I wasn't driving defensivly. If the wafe in the Porshe wasn't so busy trying to impress others with her ride and talking on the cell phone and putting on her makeup she may have had more time to avoid the Greatest American sportscar ever made, as it passed by her. I am not an advocate of street racing, but with all these cars capable of 200mph plus your gonna see a few trying to kill themselfes. Ya just gotta look for them and avoid.
