The Guide Corporation has pretty much made all of the Corvette's lamps and lenses for many years now. In fact, they've done so for many of GM's models. However, Guid Corporation has lost their contract with GM.

Visteon Corporation (of ford Motor Company) will now be doing all of the lamps on both the Corvette and the Cadillac XLR. The manufacturing plant is located in Mexico.

For a split second I thought they were going back to flip-up lights.

Does this mean I won't be seeing so many GM truck/suv products going down the road with only one front running-light working? :L What's that all about, anyway? ;shrug
