How many collect corvette models and what brands and sizes. where are the best places to buy them? what year is the favorite ones?

I got my first one probably a year ago, which was a red '69 made by Mattel (Hot Wheels). I also have a riverside red '67 (Ertl) and a blue '58 that I'm not sure who the manufacturer is. My latest purchase was a Porsche Carrera GT. All are 1:18 scale. I usually order through Exoticar (www.exoticar.com), but I also have a lot of links that I go through frequently and check what they have.

I really want an '02 Z06, but I'm holding out hoping someone will make one in electron blue. :D

I bought my first die-cast model about 1993 or 1994. It was ERTL red ´67 427 convertible 1/18. Since then I have bought every now and then only 1/18 scale Corvette models. Last one is Auto-Art Corvette SS. Mainly my models are Mid Years, but I do have all body style models. Brand that I have: Auto-Art, ERTL, Exoto, Maisto, Carousel1, UT-models...

I buy from:
http://www.dlc.fi/~model/
http://www.autosportmodels.com/
http://www.supercar1.com/
http://listings.ebay.com/aw/plistings/list/all/category19036/index.html

I've been collecting 1/43 scale for about 2 years. It started with a '93 Ruby Red, which coinsides with the purchase of a 1/1 '93 Ruby. Since then, I've acquired various 1/43rd from Ebay,Yahoo, and CORVETTE Museum auctions, and a number of online and local stores.
Exotic Car has two locations near me, and I do frequent their wharehouse sales.
Also, www.diecast.com had a couple I was interested in.
There's also 3 1/18 scale (two vettes, 1 SSR), a couple of 1/24th including a FM '63 Splitwindow made out of fibreglass, and 13 1/64th scale including a couple of specials.
They are all different vendows. Mattel mostly, but Maistro, Ertl, and Action are there as well.

Corvette Model Collection

My hubby collects all models of corvettes, all scales and all colors. :eyerole We have so many models we can't keep them all on display! There are boxes all over the house and we even have a storage building full of models. He recently moved his company into a larger office and took about 15 of the models to his office 4 of which are 1998 Pace Cars they're 1/18, 1/24, 1/43 & 1/64. We have the full size one out in the garage, he drives it to work occasionally.;) :w

I have about 110 1/18 Corvettes and continue to search E-bay for good deals. once in a while k-bee toys has a die cast month and you can usually find C5's there,. If you looking for mid year ragtops prepare to pay big money (50-65 dollar) range for those as there hard to come by. As are the specials such as a 96 grand sports which i just paid 104 bucks for. The exoto grand sports are running the 115 dollar price range, for the 63's
