CARLISLE, PA – It’s been over ten years since Carlisle Events co-founder Chip Miller passed away and not a day goes by that he isn’t missed by automotive enthusiasts, family and friends who knew him for so long. Along with Carlisle Events, Miller was the mind behind the birth of Corvettes at Carlisle, regarded now as one of the largest all-Corvette themed shows in the world. Sadly, Miller passed in 2004 due to a rare disease known as Amyloidosis. While his legacy and Corvettes at Carlisle carry on, so does the disease that took his life. As such, this year’s Corvettes at Carlisle proudly announces some unique VIP options which will not only enhance the experience of those attending the show, but will also benefit the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation.
Corvettes at Carlisle in 2015 takes place August 28-30 and will host some 5,000 Corvettes, nearly as many personalized license plates, plus over 50,000 guests from around the world. Many will pay to show their beloved sports car, others will just park and enjoy the fun. Either way, the new VIP packages available make the show that much more fun.
Two different packages have been announced and breaks down as follows:
Package 1 is the VIP Chip’s Circle Package. This carries a price point of $275 and must be secured by pre-registering between now and July 27. This package includes designated VIP parking on the Funfield and weekend admission for two, front row reserved seating at all stage activities (beauty, burnouts, flag presentation and more), express pass to all autograph sessions with special guests (Chip Foose, Wil Cooksey, Dave Mclellan, etc.), personal meet and greet with Lance Miller and a garage tour of the Miller Collection, dinner for two at the CMCF Benefit on Friday evening at the neighboring Carlisle Expo Center (includes dinner and drinks, special guest speakers, silent auction benefiting the CMCF and door prizes), full access to the CMCF hospitality area including water and snacks provided throughout the weekend and finally, a custom gift from the Miller’s and CMCF.
Package 2 is known as the CMCF Benefit Dinner Package and costs $40 per person if pre-registering or $50 if waiting until the week of the show. This includes dinner for two at the CMCF Benefit on Friday evening at the neighboring Carlisle Expo Center (includes dinner and drinks, special guest speakers, silent auction benefiting the CMCF and door prizes).
Needless to say, this type of experience doesn’t come along often, so being part of it is a must-do for any Corvette enthusiast. Plus, this is a GREAT way for clubs to get together onsite, enjoy the show as a Corvette family and be part of a truly unique experience. Best of all, you can help the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation and the fight against Amyloidosis. More details and the ability to register can be found at Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meets & Enthusiast Events or by calling Jodi Morrison at 717-243-7855 x113.
