Hey all--
Researching options for the frame conversion I am performing. Anyone have an idea of what it would cost to buy a complete bare frame from an automatic 75-79? I am trying to get a handle on what it would cost me to just buy a frame and ship it to Paul Newman's rather than have my car in 40 million pieces for a few months. Thanks for the help!

I have seen bare frames for sale from $500- $1000 before, but I don't see them very often. The last one was on Ebay and I think it sold for $550.

I found a really mint frame for a 1969 at J&D Corvette in California. It still looked like new after 30+ years. a little wire wheel and a coat of paint and you would think it's new. Nice people too. Try their e-mail address:
jdcorvette@telis.org It's been some time ago so there might have changed. If all else fails call (800) VETTE JD / (800) 838-8353

They listed frames 75-82 from $695.00 to $895.00. Shipping was $$$$ as I'm in Ohio. If I remember it was like $175.00 and getting it off the truck was fun too!
