sell your C1/C2 today and turn a profit on it?

It's interesting to note the disparity in the prices of our cars.

There are lots of variables here.

Here are a few:

1) How long you've owned the car.
2) How much you paid for it.
3) What you have done to it.

I have had my midyear for about a year and a half.
She was in pretty good shape when I got her, but she's in much better shape now.

While I (like the rest of us) have put some $$ into her, I believe that I could sell her today and make a profit.
I have no intentions of doing this unless someone pulls a "Godfather" on me.
You know, make me an offer I can't refuse.:D

Ok, your turn, I'm outta material!

Well since I paid $5,600 for it, yes, I could turn a profit.

Do I have to add in the rebuild and alterations cost? ;LOL

Embarresed to admit it but I canot think of any car I have ever sold and made a profit on.I have owned my car since 2000 and have not stopped spending money on it since then.(forget about my labor)

I do have a freind who is a somewhat of a dealer of collector cars.and it seems he is always making a profit on purchasing cars and selling them.

He always purchases HIGH quaility cars then just puts the finishing concours correction touches on them and resells them.

Bob,

If you converted those 67 dollars into 2004 dollars, and added lets say, $5 per hour for every hour you have put into it, I'll bet you are WAY upside down! LOL
And that is not even factoring in the conversion of Cajun dollars to real money!

Too true. Believe it or not, the average value of a U.S. dollar, in 1967, was $0.9273 Canadian :D
