What does one need to do to replace the driver's door courtesy lightbulb? Must i remove the entire door panel?

There was a thread on this about a year ago. Memory is that there's a way to pop the lens out without getting the panel off.
Use the 'Search' tab above and look for courtesy and door panel at least a year ago (or more).

Nope. The lense is hinged so that you can change the bulb without removing the door panel. I forget at the moment just which end is the hinged end, but I'll check in a bit. In the meantime I have a Vette club meeting to attend soon. :v

Thanks, Ken. Awaiting your answer.

Okay Rick. To tell you the truth,, I forgot to look at my doors when I was in the car earlier, but I found the replacement instructions in a book for you. :CAC
The interior courtesy lights are located in the remote control plates of either door. To remove the bulb...
  1. Remove the armrest and the remote control plate from the door trim panel.
  2. Pop out the interior courtesy light housing from the remote control plate.
  3. Pry loose the front end of the lens from the housing with a small screwdriver. (It's hinged at the rear. ;))
  4. Remove the bulb.
  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
