Cowel Sqeaks!!!!!!!!!

Hi
Today while l was cleaning my 96 coupe, l leaned on the front cowl, that is the piece that has the louvers behind the front wheels.

I checked to see if something was loose, but all the screws and rivets were tight.

The squeak makes me crazy and it might be a noise that l hear when l drive over uneven roads.

What can you suggest? Maybe a little wd-40 (l'm serious).

Thanks

Alan

TRY THIS. Grease the hood pins and the spring thingies they (the pins) press into when it closes. Bet your noise goes away.

sqeaks!!

already did it!!!!

changed the bumpers.

thanks.

Had the same problem with the gill on the drivers side. It squeaked on the top portions when they ran together. Solved it by drilling & installing a couple of pop- rivits. A little touch up paint on the rivit heads & no more squeak.
