CR1's may be some of the toughest cars to put a price on, as they were all over the board when it came to options, etc.

There has been one for sale recently as Surf mentions, for $45k and it is a black / black 1990 AeroBody CR1 w/ << wide >> OZ wheels and maybe coilovers - maybe...

Other cars, like some of the CR1's that we have had the pleasure of seeing at Carlisle, etc. over the years have a lot more "Callaway Content" than just the SuperNatural 475 engine - most of these cars are SNAT 490's and have custom Callaway exhaust, brakes, and in the extreme exotics - the full interiors like a Callaway Speedster :eek :upthumbs

Certainly an awesome car to consider, the CR1 leads my list of "must haves" before I die - the question is, would I be killed in the process to owning one :ugh ;)

Best to have reached your goals and die happy :beer

Until then just learn to run faster when she starts swinging :mad I am trying to perfect that Matrix move (dodging the verbal bullets)when the complaints are flying about cars

Mark, I hear ya ;)

Actually, I sold one of my cars last week - now I have more room ;)

Actually, my wife is remodelling the house - reality: she hired someone to do this. Every day it is something else changed - somethines I have to check to see if it is the right house :Silly

Maybe when the dust settles, I will look for something new - well, new for me ;)

In the meantime - Enjoy! :v :m

Which one did you sell?

Do I sense preparation for a new generation toy?

I sold my Trans Am :( I had it for 14 years and it was the car I took on my first date w/ the lady I later married...

I was thinking of a new car - I have to see how this remodel project goes... It gets bigger daily and by the hour! :eek

I know of a POLO GREEN colored car that would fit in that extra space for about a year........

All the more reason... If its going to feel like a strange house then make it stanger with a CR1 in the garage :D

Though I know the feeling....

I thought you liked the burgundy one in the other thread??

Yes Chris, the burgandy one is nice but if I had a choice it would be Jim's '91 with the updated interior and motor!

Mark, no Callaways are leaving, period :D :cool

That is too funny about the GTA's - mine was a 1989 5.7L T-top car - It must be in the DNA to have an f-body like that and then move on to the Callaway cars :cool I know Sam (8388) had a hot Trans Am before his B2K addiction began - he has quite a story about the sale of that car too ;)

Nothing against the F-body.....but I think I will skip that step!
